Employ your own home care staff, while using At Home Care+ to:

  • Assist with administration

If you are Self-Managed or Plan-Managed, and would like to hire your own care team, At Home Care+ offers various Shared Management models. 

Hiring your own carers offers you an increased sense of control. It enables you to develop strong professional relationships with the people working with you in your home and may also assist you to maintain continuity of staff.

You recruit, roster and manage your own carers.

At Home Care+ provides book-keeping, payroll and administration support. All staff are employed by you - or we are happy to employ the staff on your behalf if you wish.

Back up staffing can be provided through At Home Care if ever needed.

How much does it cost?

First we conduct an in-home safety assessment, review your care plan, arrange insurances, and provide staff contracts, timesheets and other templates. This is all covered in the set-up fee.

You determine the staff wages, usually based on the SCHADS Award, and we add the superannuation, workers compensation and other necessary staff costs.

Our fee is then based on a percentage of your plan, ranging from 8% to 12%, depending on the shared management model.
