COVID-19 Safe Response Plan

At Home Care is committed to supporting you and continuing the services we provide through the COVID-19 pandemic.

As COVID-19 community transmission becomes more common in Western Australia, we have prepared for the varying levels of impact it will have on you, your family and your team.

Our approach has identified five phases of operation for At Home Care while COVID-19 is in the community - Prepare, Detect, Respond, Resolve and Maintain.

COVID-19 Safe Response Plan

At Home Care will transition through different phases depending on the level of transmission in the community, government guidance and our internal risk management protocols.

We have prepared a plan for each of these five phases which will be implemented in addition to any restrictions or mandates advised by the Western Australian Government.

At Home Care will let all our clients know if we transition into a new phase and exactly what that means for you.

Below is a summary of what you can expect at each stage.

Prepare – No (or negligible) impact on clients and team

  • COVID-19 Response Team meets weekly
  • Weekly email update from the CEO
  • Relief workforce on standby to cover any team members unavailable due to isolation
  • PPE and RATS supplies secured for your team
  • Vaccination management system in place
  • Regular training and resources provided to your team

Detect – Minor impact on clients and team

  • Continue measures from previous phase
  • All team to review list of exposure sites daily
  • Non-essential face to face meetings moved online or postponed
  • Increased hygiene protocols implemented in community and offices

Respond – Significant impact on clients or team

  • Continue measures from previous phases
  • COVID-19 Response Team meets daily
  • All office team to work from home

Resolve – Peak impact on clients and team
