Access WA is a Western Australian access guide for people with a disability, carers and seniors to search and find accessible business and community facilities in WA. Access information will assist people of all ages and abilities, including people who use a wheelchair, have difficulty walking or who are blind or deaf.
The Companion Card is a card issued to people with a significant and permanent disability who require attendant care support from a companion to participate at most venues and activities. If you hold a card and present this when booking or purchasing a ticket from participating business they will issue a second ticket for your companion at no charge.
The National Disability Standards set out the quality standards expected of service providers that provide disability services. They outline how disability services are to be provided and what individuals with disability, families and carers should experience when accessing these services.
