You and your family may prefer to employ your own home care staff, while using At Home Care+ (previously Ability One WA Services) to assist you with administration; arranging insurances; payroll and taxes; and backup home care staff (where required).

Shared-management gives you the flexibility of employing your own staff with the peace of mind that comes with knowing the payment and administration is being handled by professionals.

Shared-management. How it works for you.

Hiring your own carers offers you an increased sense of control and enables you to develop strong professional relationships with the carers working with you in your home. As an added benefit, this option may also assist you to maintain continuity of staff.

At Home Care+ provides book keeping and administration support. All staff are employed by you through a company structure.

You have the confidence that your personal and Trust assets are protected by the company structure.

The carers have the peace of mind that comes with being employed by a legitimate business entity, administered independently, and with workers compensation and public liability insurances.

How much does it cost?

There is a once off fee to register the company; conduct an in-home safety assessment; review your care plan; arrange insurances; and provide staff contracts, timesheets and other templates.

Rather than a loading added to the hourly rate of every employee, there is a simple fixed monthly fee to cover administration.

Whether you prefer Shared-management, Self-management, or would prefer we take the pressure off you and manage all your needs with a Full Agency model, we offer flexible support solutions to help you achieve your goals.
